Friends of Hobbs Guest Speaker Series

 

                                   All programs are free.   Most will start at 2:00 p.m. on a Saturday

                                   and will originate at the new Hobbs State Park - Conservation

                                   Area visitor center on U.S. Hwy 12 just east of the

                                   Hwy 12/War Eagle Road intersection

in the Ozark chinquapin tree history, this is a must to attend.)

July 17, 2010:  Dr. Dayton Steelman:  "Insects"  (mosquitos, ticks, and chiggers --- Great time

of year for this topic)

August 14, 2010:  Steven Foster:  Ozark Herbs and Medicinal Plants

September 18, 2010:  Robert Morgan:  "Drinking Water - Northwest Arkansas's Ace In the Hole"

November 13, 2010:  Tom Duggan - From the Railway History Society "Roscoe Hobbs/KC + Memphis RR/Rail road ties/Hobbs State Park"
