Hobbs Celebrates Leopold

Join staff, volunteers, and friends as we celebrate the amazing work of naturalist Aldo Leopold, author of A Sand County Almanac. Special guests will read essays from his famous book throughout the day. Participate in nature walks, nature writing, special presentations, children’s activities, and much more!

Spring has sprung! Join the Hobbs State Park-Conservation Area staff as we celebrate spring. All week there will be programs, hikes, boat cruises, and a day camp for 8-12 year olds! Nature Exploration Day Camp

Are your children looking for a fun camp to participate in over the summer? At this unique day camp, they will be immersed in a natural setting and enjoy a variety of fun, hands-on activities. Session 1: 6-8 year olds, Session 2: 9-12 year olds, Session 3: 6-8 year olds.

Outdoor Adventure Camp--Only 3 spots still available!

This special camp for teenagers will allow them to experience the activities you can participate in outdoors. They will be learn to kayak on Beaver Lake, wilderness survival (including fire building), and many more fun activities. Space is limited to 6 people, so do not miss this fun opportunity! For teenagers 13-15 years old.
